Juan Andres Caicedo Garces

My name is Juan Andrés Caicedo Garces. I am 27 years old and I am a business administration student.

I am originally from the province of Esmeraldas, Cantón Eloy Alfaro, Parroquia Atahualpa Camarones, I was born September 23, 1995. My parents are Ángel Caicedo and Alicia Garces, I am the 4th of 5 siblings, and I studied at the Fiscomisional Educational Unit school Santa María De Los Cayapas.

2017 began a period in my life of very big changes since I had to leave home to study at university in the city of Quito.

At this stage I met La Frate, which is where I currently live. I came to this shelter through a sister who knew the situation of the town where I am from. We had graduated and it was because of her that I had the opportunity to reach the fraternity since he had contact of Leo, the person in charge.

The fraternity has helped me both professionally and in daily life. It is here where I learned to cook since in my house the ones who cooked were my sisters.

La Fraternidad for me has been a fundamental pillar to achieve my dreams.

My current aspiration is to graduate with a degree in business administration, get a good job in order to help my family back in my hometown and in some way support La Frate which has always been there, helping me achieve my dreams.
